Flutist Lee Jie Youn graduated from Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, and Seoul National University College of Music with a bachelors in flute and masters in Musicology. She then received a masters from the U.S. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and was active as a flute teaching assistant with a full scholarship and received a doctorate in flute performance and literature.
She is currently lecturing at Pyeongtaek University, Baekseok Culture University, Duksung Women’s University, Deokwon Arts High School, Goyang Arts High School, Incheon Arts High School, etc., and continues to show passion in teaching younger students. She is also interested in the popularization of classical culture and expanding its base, serving as a director of the Eunpyeong Foundation for Arts & Culture while also being recognized for her activities by being active in various areas such as the musical director for the corporate body The Learn.
